Press Conference "The Eye 2"

The official announcement for the movie "The Eye 2" (Konhenpee part II) occurred on October 16, 2003. The production was a collaboration between Thai and Hong Kong by 3 producers Somsak Taecharatanapasert, Peter Chan, and Nuntee Nimitbut. This was the first time that 3 actors were in the same film: Tik Jesadaporn Pholdee, Shu Qi, and Yuginia Yuen under the directing of Oxide Pang and Danny Pang.

Peter Chan said that the decision to make The Eye 2 was partly because the international success from the first movie, which already opened door for the sequel. The script was written by the Jojo Hui, same writer from the first one. Director of Photography would also be Decha Srimunta, who won the best Director of Photography from The Eye in Catalonian International Film Festival in Spain. Danny Pang and Nuntee agreed that part II would be more mysterious and scarier.

Tik Jesadaporn told us that he was very excite to work with foreign film for the first time. Even though he played a ghost in horror film "303 Kua Ka Akat," Tik said that this movie has more depth and more twist.

Shu Qi is a famous actress who stars in well-known movies like So Close, The Transporter, Millennium Manbo, said that she was very please to work in The Eye 2. She also praised Thai people for good working ethic, good manner, especially Tik who is very polite and handsome.

Yuginia Yuen, a Chinese-American actress, was a daughter of Chan Peipei, action queen of Chor Brothers. She stared opposite Li Ming in "Three." Yuginia said that The Eye 2 was interesting and she was very excite to be working with Oxide-Danny and Tik and Shu Qi.

The movie The Eye 2 will be in theater in early 2004.

An interveiw on Aom and Tik concerning their new lakorn together!!

They ask Tik about how he though of his role.
Tik says this role is very hard for him to play not like the others. He didn’t think it would be this hard but realized that he had to challenge himself a lot. He had to rent American old time movies to see how the hero acted, he had to learn how to ride horses as well as use sword. He said he is quite afraid of this role. But he said after reading the script he liked it right away and likes the hero’s (Pa-ek) characteristics.

He did mention about what’s going to happen to him in the lakorn, but I want tell you guys unless you want to know. I really don’t want to ruin the lakorn for you but to watch it yourself. I was shocked myself after reading it, I know how Pa-ek is going to die.

I also read in exact news, about them having to act out a sweet scene together and it was so real and great that everyone in the crew and including the director said that match in the lakorn so much, they can’t help but to think that these two match off scene!!! Then it mentioned that Aom’s face became really red of embarassement. Okay that’s all I got for now. Bye-Bye. Right now, my friend is waiting to watch the first part of LeudKuthiya, but it’s still not airing yet! I will be so upset if I don’t get to see it.

There it goes, they interviewed Aom of the lakorn and how her character is. She said in the beginning her age is about 14-15 years of age and she really has to act and talk like a kid and she has to completely change her acting. Then later on in the lakorn, she becomes a woman and acts differently. Aom said it's challenging that she had to completely act differently in the same role. Then..
They ask her how into is she of this role?
Aom: Says she's very into this role cuz she's read the novel before and everytime she comes into the role with Anothai(Tik) she always feels sorry for him and always end up really crying (out of the script).
She pretty much told the climax that she would like to have a guy that really loves her like Anothai who is willing to die for his loved one.
Then Tik's, they asked him how hard is this role?
Tik: This role is really challenging since I have to speak words...

Today we will interview the popular actress from Nangshow which now is getting the high rating in Ch3. This drama makes people like her dancing and always to request her to show. Ann said she feels happy which the feedback from this drama is better than she expects. She wasted 2 months for learning the dance and there are 20 songs she will dance in this lakorn. During the period of 9 months of this production, Ann feels so tired but now that feeling is disappeared cause of the best feedback from people.

Ann is the best quality actress in Thailand. She will select the interested role and good roles and not necessary to be a neat charactor actress. Ann particularly accepts 2 lakorns per year. She wouldn't accept more cause she wants to keep the best qualities of her responsibilites.

After the discussion with the producer of Taepangkorn yesterday, he said he has already talked with Ann and he thinks Ann should play this Lakorn cause of Khun Jim Mayurachat needs only Ann as the leading actress. But for the leading actor, they are not ready now because there are too many choices for the actor. Also Tik might not be able to play as the pa'ek because he isn't available and that its hard to get him to play for ch.3 since he is not that close with ch3 producer. Anyway, everyone might have heard that Nang Show has finish filming later week, and might be air soon. As for Nag faa Rai Peak, it might finish filming on the 21th or the 26th .

Nang Show Summary

The story is about a poor girl who will become a famous Showgirl in a club named “69club”. Before becoming famous, she will meet many trouble in her job. The role will be played by Ann Thongprasom.

Many people, no matter they were young or old, love Ann very much. Even on of the minister loved her and wanted her to become his second wife...But Ann was not interesting in anyone. The most important for her is only her job. Among these men, there was also Nott, he was a bad guy and playboy. He has many girlfriends and dated with them at the same time, he didn’t care for their feelings.

When he saw ann for the first time, he fell in love with her and he went to see her everynight in her show. Every time, Ann tried to avoid him because she knew that he’s a playboy and not a serious man.

Later, the minister really wanted her to become his wife. So one day, he took Ann to somwhere and tried to rape her, but Nott came in time to help her to escape from this bad man.

This time Ann began to have feelings for Nott and they finally have a relation. Later, Ann found out she is pregnant and she tells Nott about her pregnancy, but Nott said this isn’t his baby and give her some money for abortion, Ann was shocked by his action and she was very angry with Nott.

Ann was very upset after what happened and decided to leave her job in NangShow and go far away from Nott. He didn’t care for her because he didn’t really love her, like her love him, she was just a toy for him.

So, Nott married with another girl and after he had an accident and became a handicapped man. Because of this, his wife will leave him. So Nott was sad by her action and sad also for Ann. After this, he really hopes to return to Ann.

When he found her, he said he loved her (now that he became a handicapped), she refused to return with him and told him to go out of her life, she didn’t want to see him again because she can’t forgive him for his action maybe with her baby (She was 3 month pregnant), she will raise the child by herself.

The End

The story is mainly show the way how the nang'ek become a popular showgirl, start from a poor girl and then her life was changed after she met Nott.

She came into the Entertainment business since she was still wearing school outfit and now she has fans everywhere. She is one of the best actress in Thailand
She is acting in 2 lakorns: nang show and nang fah....and they interview her about her role in Nang show, she said that it is one of the hardest role she ever act in
she is very glad to act with Mam Jintara for the 1st time in a lakorn, she has always liked Mam Jintara. She said that she expected the lakorn will finish filming since last year but due to a lot of dance shows it’s very hard, so they take long time to film. They have to postpone. Now Nan fah starts filming at the same time, she is very tired and she said that she only has one day a week to practice for the show, she has to do it for Nang fah.....

Ann talks about Nott
She said that everyone thinks he is younger than her, but she said that they are in the same age. He is not close to her but he will ask Ann about how to play certain parts of the lakorn and she will give him advices, then she continue talking about Nang Show, that she fainted in filming the last show scene of the lakorn, she doesn't have enough sleep, because she has to film in 2 lakorns at the same time. In the last show scene of the lakorn of Nang Show....Ann has to faint for real.

Ann talks about Nang fah
she said she gets to work with a new pra-ake name Andy. This lakorn is from Polyplus.
She gives a brief summary of the lakorn: Ann is the daughter of the owner of an airline or something. Her character in this lakorn is not doing much, she doesn't work,
she always go shopping. For clothes, she gets to dress very pretty in this lakorn. Later, her father dies and Andy will take over. He is married to a wife who has a daughter, but the daughter is not Andy's, its someone else. It didn't say if its daughter or son, so Ann has to change her character to be more responsible bow that her father died and she has to play her role with Andy's wife's daughter too. She said that since she has to dress really pretty in this lakorn, she often looks in magazines for how people dress and she goes out to buy new clothes and brings with her to wear in the lakorn too, instead of wearing the ones they prepare for her.

Not only Ann is professional in acting, she is also finding time to teach little kids in a school whose the owners are the parents of her boyfriend, she said she is very happy around kids. She teaches them every Wednesday, from morning to noon. She talks about Nat's wedding. They ask her when is gonna be her time to marry, she said she didn't think about it now, it’s not time for her yet. The reason why Nat decided to marry is because she and her boyfriend know each other for very long time.
When she is ready, she will let everyone know......

Quick summary about “Tae-pang-korn”

Tae-pang-korn means likely the ex-period or in the past period mentioned.

This drama has 3 parts of period from King Rama VI until present. The 1st part, both love 're disappointed cause of Nang'Ek 's dead. Pra'Ek swears that he will love her forever ..........until the 2nd peroid, Nang'Ek, reborns, she cannot reconize the story from the past. She sees Pra'ek 's spirit who is waiting for her comming. Nang'ek can reconize later but the love cannot be succesful cause of Nang'ek is human being but Pra'ek is a spirit. Nang'ek becomes a non and dies later. ..........until the 3 rd period, Pra'ek and Nang'ek reborn, both cannot reconize the story from the past. When both meet again, every events from the past can be reconized. The love is fullfilled finally.

"Tae-Pang-Korn" will be play by Tik Jesadaporn Pholdee & Ann Thongprasom

Khun Jim Mayurachat casts the P'Ek & Nang'Ek in lakorn "Tae-Pang-Korn" is Tik & Ann.

This lakorn will be launched in the end of this year if not next year. Now they are waiting for both acceptances. We hope Ann will make decision to play this lakorn.

Q: What is the concept of Satree Lek II?
A: In part II, we will feature what went on before and after part I.

Q: Tik, your character will have children in the movie, correct?
A: According to the first Satree Lek, we saw that I had twins at the end. In part II, my kids are now around 3 or 4 years old.

Q: How do you feel about playing the role of a father?
A: In the movie, I didn't really play the role of a father. The kids will only show up during my games to cheer me on. My role would actually focus more in on playing volleyball rather than his children.

Q: What's interesting about Satree Lek II?
A: About this movie, we want to bring out the fun and merriment to the audience like in part I. In one of the part, we will be traveling in search of all the team members.

Q: I heard at one point, you had to dance to cure boredom.
A: Yes, it was pretty refreshing. I didn't actually have to learn anything because in the movie, my character couldn't dance very well. I just had to go with the flow, only I chose music to cure my boredom. And another important point of the film is our volleyball team play with fierce strength and determination.

Q: Is the story in Satree Lek II based on facts or fiction?
A: Some parts are based on the real story will some are completely fictional.

Q: Is the reason you decided to be in Satree Lek II because the gays are hot "maa rang" right now?
A: I think Satree Lek made them hot. I'm in the movie because I want to do it. Also the response from the Thailand and other countries has been good.

Q: What do you think the viewers will receive from part II?
A: I'm going to represent the audience. In the part I, my character didn't really understand the team members. However, in part II, he now understands more. Actually, he understands them more than they understand each other, because they usually argue.

Q: Do you think there'll be part III?
A: Probably not. This part II would be it. This should be the last one because all the actors had a hard to come together and make this movie.

Q: Aside from this project, what other project are you working on?
A: I'm about to start filming another movie. It's a romance, drama, comedy. The feel of the movie is like those Korean or Japanese type. My character is a normal, casual guy, but with a warm look and can do many things. He's dream guy.

Q: Aye! Would this mean that this character is pointing to your own character in real life?
A: This…I can’t say…( laughs )

Q: Who’s the leading actress?
A: VJ Ja. We’ve seen each other once when we went in to read the script I think that even though this is Ja’s first movie, she’s already performing pretty well. I think that in this movie, the director is looking for everyone’s own nature. Whatever my real nature may be or whatever Ja’s real nature may be, it will be seen in this movie, which makes me think that this movie will be a very adorable one.

Q: Tik, you have been working for many years now. Have you bought yourself a present yet?
A: I did get to buy a house.

Q: It’s 10 million right?
A: oh ho! It’s not that much. It’s really not that much. In the beginning, I was thinking about saving up the money. But after discussing with my parents, and the fact that I, too, want a house, so we decided to purchase another house for us Poldee family. The decision was also made because the housing prices for the moment was not that expensive. My parents went to see it and they love it.

Q: Where is the house located?
A: It’s a bit far, in Minburi. The reason being is that the houses in the cities are expensive. Also, the atmosphere in Minburi are very nice.

Q: How is it going with your plans to further continue your studies?
A: I’m putting it aside for the moment because I still haven’t had the chance to continue. But whenever I decides to continue, I will let you know. Wanting to continue for a master does not mean that if I want to continue I can just continue. There are many things involve such as changing my schedules in order to make time for school, and it also depends if the school will accept me or not.

Q: Some people who works in the entertainment industry with a master degree feels that even though they have received their masters, the amount of money that they receieved aren’t any different, not any more or less than before.
A: I didn’t want to continue because of wanting more money. I wanted to continue because I want to have more knowledge than before.

Q: What are you putting your effort into learning?
A: An engineer.

Q: Do you think you will be able to use the knowledge that you have gain from studying?
A: I think that at least engineering teaches you about reasoning and you can use it towards your everyday life.

Q: What are you plans for the future?
A: I’m not looking anywhere far. Just hoping that my work would always have the best results. That’s really all I have in mind.

Q: You’re working so much, do you even have a girlfriend?
A: Right now, I’m purely single, honest and truthful, great personality, loves nature, dislike those who lies, and love sports. (haha)

Q: You still don’t have a girlfriend? (It’s hard to believe)
A: It’s really true. It’s because I don’t have time, and plus, just because we’re now celebrities does not mean that we have more chances than others. Actually the chances are slim! The distrust begins to grow. The girls wants something stable. We, as celebrities are pretty much busy working and the fact that we see this person and that person. They begin to lose their trust for us, not being able to believe if we're going to work or not, so they become more careful. Not only that, they would have the desire to go out and have fun, watch movies, but coming home from work would be very tiring, we would want to rest. They most definitely wouldn’t like this.

Q: Could it be because you have the player look?
A: That’s exactly what I'm trying to explain. I don’t know who likes to create rumors that I’m a player. I seriously am not a player. I might know something about the beach, but about being a player, not at all.

Q: You don’t feel anything? You’re 25 and still do not have a girlfriend?
A: Many of my friends still haven’t had a girlfriend. We never felt like we’re different. We’re happy that we don’t feel obligated. Responsibilities with work and at home are enough. I’m just asking to live fun and easy like this first.

Q: Are there times where you feel lonely? For the most part, we all have someone to give us encouragement.
A: I want to say that my encouragement actually comes from my fans. I seriously would like to thank everyone for the past votes that I've been receiving. The work that I did in the past was well received and I’m very happy about this. Like the past year, both of my lakorns,”Thok Gradai Hua Jai Ploy Jone” and “ Roy Leh Sanae Rai” was widely accepted.

Q: So, when will you have a girlfriend?
A: I didn’t think about this. I think that there are many who are still single. There are many actors who are older than me and still single.

Q: They probably do have one, but just didn’t want to tell.
A: But I really don’t have one. ( smile )

Q: What do you think about celebrities who have a girlfriend/boyfriend but deny their status. On the other scene, you then see them walking together holding hands, and yet say that they are only friends.
A : Well, they could really be only friends. Guys and girls these days who are only friends can hold each other’s hand. We can say that women these days have as much of a right as men does.

Q: If you have a girlfriend, would you be open about it?
A: It’s more of like if we’re ready or not. If we know that we will be getting marry, then I’ll be open about it.

It seems that Aom and Tik’s new lakorn is a period lakorn. Aom is supposed to be a princess and Tik is her teacher's son. It’s supposed to be a sad love story between the two: Tik will die at the end because Aom killed him over a misunderstanding, but it’s not confirmed yet, because in the old movie the p'ek died.

who his ideal girl was and he answered back his ideal girl was Aom Piyada….
People say that he is a great guy to work with, he comes to work early,

etc…. During an interview, they asked him what bother him the most and
